Lagoon...

So it's been a busy week. Sorry it's taken so long to post this...

We went with Ryan's work to "Magoon" - Joshese for Lagoon. Josh was so excited to go, not knowing what to expect. The first thing he did was ride Bulge the Whale. After he got off, the next ride over was Jumping Samari. I figured it was in the kiddie area and Josh loves dragons, so why not? Well I guess I should have watched the ride before we got on. We were buckled in ready to go. It spins around in circles. Not too bad I thought and then it began to speed up. Josh HATED this ride. Don't blame him though, I myself got a little queasy on it. So needless to say, I'm not allowed to pick the ride anymore.

When we got off the ride, Josh said his tummy hurt and he wanted to go home. We thought we'd try a ride he likes to change his mind. Over to the carousel. Ryan helped Josh find the perfect animal to ride. I took a pic and then Josh changed his mind. He was off the ride before it even began.

After walking around Pioneer Village with some ice cream, we were back in action. I convinced everyone to go on the log fume. Nice peaceful ride until you hit the 30 foot climb just to drop you back down. We got soaked, at least I did! Remember how I wasn't supposed to pick any rides? This rule was reinforced after riding the log fume. Josh HATED hit! I think it's because he suddenly got wet.

So we took yet another break, this time for lunch. Afterwards, Josh carefully picked each ride, making sure he watched it before he got on.

Here are some highlights of the day...

After going on the rides, we decided to head out. As we were leaving, we came across the water fountain/splash pad. Josh immediately put on his brakes and had to watch. After watching for what seamed like eternity (maybe five minutes), he finally ran in to join in on the fun. That was it, he was hooked. He loved every second of it! We had a hard time getting him out. When asked what his favorite part was - "running through the sprinklers at Magoon!"

It turned out to be a great day! Can't wait to try again next year, but I think we'll skip the Jumping Samari :)

That looks like so much fun. I can't remember the last time I went to Lagoon.
