Happy Fourth of July!

Yes, I know the Fourth of July was forever ago, I'm running behind. We started the day at the Layton City Parade. It was Josh's first parade. We went with the Cheneys. We had great seats! We had fun waving our "Made in China" American Flags. Josh loved watching the horses and the motorcycles. He liked the firetrucks, but they were loud and hurt his ears. He wasn't the quickest at getting the candy they threw, but thanks to his friends, he was covered.
Gabi, Josh & Issy at the parade!
Later that day, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a BBQ and "fireworks". Josh is deathly afraid of fireworks. I think they hurt his ears, but who knows. So, we thought we'd play it safe with some sparklers and snaps. He was brave enough to hold one sparkler, but that was it. He'd rather roll down the hill with grandma. It was pretty entertaining for us to watch grandma. She's a good sport!

Enjoying an ice cream, watching everyone else doing fireworks!
