Sansa not be sick...

Where does the time go? I can't believe we're already at the end of March! We haven't been to good at posting. Not much to report as far as activities.

We were lucky to enjoy a few warm days in March - shorts and flip flops! Josh had fun playing outside with his friends. Sadly, it only lasted a few days then it was followed by snow storms. Josh and Ryan went to the zoo again last weekend, but if you've seen one zoo pic, you've pretty much seen them all. Other than that, we're pretty boring.

This month Josh has started saying his own prayers. He still needs a little help, but he can do it on his own......

(skipping the into all together)

"I want baby bruder (brother)...help Sansa (Santa) not be sick...help all not sick...thank you friends, toys, animals, food, momma, daddy, and me Josh. Jesus. Amen"

He is very adiment about getting a baby brother and Santa not getting sick (where that one came from who knows???). He will repeat it over and over until we say it. He knows what's important! He is too cute!!!

A good day for the zoo...

For my birthday, I wanted to spend a day with my boys. I'm sure they didn't want to spend the day shopping or scrapbooking, so we went to the zoo. Josh was so excited. It was all he talked about for two weeks! We weren't sure if we were going to be able to make it since the weather wasn't looking in our favor. Luckily it wasn't snowing, so we took a chance. The best time for the zoo is on a colder day! - not as many people, animals are more active, and it's not so hot!
It was fun to see all of the animals. Because it was cold, most of the animals were out playing. The zookeeper was in playing with the monkeys, so they weren't just sitting there. It was fun to watch all of the monkeys, and there were a lot of them! Josh loved watching the big elephants. That's all he talks about -big ears, big tail, big elephants... We also rode the "Choo-choo" and the "round and round" (Merry go round). Josh was very insistive on sitting on the rhino.
Unfortuantely the one thing that he really wanted to see wasn't there - the Aligators :(. The White aligator went back to Lousiana and the regular crocodiles were mating, so they needed their privacy. He was also disappointed that we couldn't eat lunch at the zoo. A few tears were shed, but they were gone when we told him we were having pizza and root beer.
Josh loves animals! I'm sure we'll be visiting the zoo quite a bit this year!
