Lots of catching up...

It's only been a week, but it seems that I've missed alot.

The Toilet Paper Caper...

So I thought Ryan used a lot of toilet paper, Josh is following in his father's footsteps. Difference bieng, Josh just likes to unravel it to get to the tube. One night, Ryan pulled out a new roll of toilet paper to put on his nightstand. "Should we take bets on how long this one's gonna last with Josh?" My guess was one, maybe two days. Wrong...20 minutes. Josh had the whold thing unraveled and shredded, just so he could have a "telescope". We no longer keep toilet paper on the side of the bed...

Making Cookies...

While we were at Gardner Village, we picked up some fun cookie cutters - a brontasaurus, a stegosaurus, and a giraffe. This meant that we had to make cookies (Josh twisted my arm). He's my new helper in the kitchen. He's in charge of putting the ingredients in the bowl and stirring as needed. This time, he was a little upset because I used my mixer and he couldn't stir. But I made it up to him by letting him lick the beater. Yum Yum! I'd show pictures of the final product, but we ate them too fast!

Pumpkin Walk...

Last weekend was the annual Syracuse Pumpkin Walk. They display hundreds of carved pumpkins lit up ready to go for Halloween. Chris and Jan joined us. They came over early for a quick dinner and then we were off to enjoy the festivities. Josh dressed up in his Tigger costume. We walked through the park admiring all of the fun pumpkins. They had people passing out candy along the way, so Josh enjoyed it even more! Afterwards, we stopped for yummy gelato (thanks Chris!). We had so much fun, I can't wait for Halloween!

HaPPy BiRthdAy RyAn!!!

or "Happy Happy Ga-ga!" as Josh would put it. Josh is so excited for Ryan's birthday - from the presents to the cake. All day long he's been singing his version of Happy Birthday and telling Ryan "Happy Happy". It's fun to see all of his excitement.

My favorite things about Ryan...
He is the best husband and father... The mere thought of him brings a smile to my face... I love that we can sit and talk about anything and everything for hours... He is my best friend.... He's the first to apologize and make things better (even when I was in the wrong)... He's very passionate... His smile... His "woo-wooing"... and so much more. I am so blessed to have him as my husband. I love you Ryan!!! Happy Birthday!

First Day of Snow...

I could hardly believe my eyes when I woke up this morning...SNOW! Not just a light dusting, but 6 inches! I wasn't too happy, but Josh was extatic! He loves the snow. He immediately started to beg and plead to go out and play in it. So, at 7:00 in the morning, Josh was out in his PJs, enjoying the snow.

HaPPy BiRthDaY GraNdPa!!!

Today is Grandpa Miller's 84th birthday!!! To help celebrate Grandpa's birthday, Cindi, Dad, Josh and I went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa last Thursday. We had fun reminising about peanut butter sandwhiches and popcorn. YuMMy!!! We also indulged ourselves with cake. Josh had lots of fun playing with their musical bear (which we all grew tired of very quickly). He also loved the horses! He got pretty brave this time, but he still wouldn't touch them. Mybe next time...

Grandpa- Happy Birthday!!! Thank you for all of your unconditional love and support. I am so thankful for the wonderful example you have been to me. You are a wonderful grandpa! I love you with all of my heart! Love~Heidi

Having fun...

Josh loves to play with his toys. Lately, his favorite place to play is at the kitchen table. Whether it's with his cars, dinosaurs or his animals, he sits at the table and quietly plays. He lines up his toys in a neat row and then takes turns with each toy. He's very organized while he plays, I think he gets that from me.
