the Polar Express...

Josh's favorite movie is the Polar Express. We watch it year round, almost weekly. So this Christmas we thought we'd make our own Polar Express. Mom, Dad, Josh and Grandma Jan rode the Front Runner up to Ogden. While riding we had refreshments (aka hot chocolate). The conductor (UTA employee) came around and gave us candy canes. We even went through a few time tunnels (from TV show Dinosaur Train). Josh was in heaven!

After we got off the train, we stopped at the Union Station for some dinner. Then it was off to the North Pole (aka Christmas Village). We walked around looking at all of the little houses. It was a little cold, but we survived :)

Then back on the train to go home. When we got in the car, "Believe" from Josh Groban was playing (from the Polar Express movie). It was a fitting end for our Polar Express journey. It was a lot of fun. I think we may have to make this a yearly tradition.
